Fred Funk Wins Mayakoba
Published March 7th, 2007 Scratch to Scratch Blog
During my challenge I hit tens of thousands of balls and worked enormously hard for many hours every week on every aspect of my game but categorically the most important of the whole process was keeping the belief in mind that I could do it. Towards the end it was this belief and my slow erosion of it that caused me to doubt my ability and believe all those who said I couldn’t do it (which included Darren Clarke and Sam Torrance - don’t forget) When, through a process of some straight talking and EFT from David Walters this belief came surging back those last few shots were effortless (well almost

Last week Fred Funk, at the age of 50, has not only started winning on the Seniors tour but with crippling back pain he managed to win the PGA tour Mayakoba Classic in Mexico. So how did this short hitter manage to defeat all the young guys basting it on the main tour?
According to Fred it simply came down to his attitude. To thinking positive about the situation and avoiding negative thoughts. He has been working with Lanny Bassham of Mental Management who has helped him look at how he treats his thoughts on every shot. He now dismisses the bad shots as simply part of the game and stops beating himself up. His back was causing him great pain but he knew that he could win so kept at it. And there he stands with the cup in his hand after being written off for being too old.
New Findings In EFT !

(1) A careful replication of the Wells study on the use of EFT for fears of small animals and insects is now in its final stage of data analysis at Queens College in New York. Researchers Dr. Harvey Baker and Linda Seigel attempted to match as closely as possible Wells’ procedures, but they used a different comparison group. Instead of the deep breathing condition used in the Wells’ study, they used a form of counseling closely related to nondirective counseling (they called it the “Supportive Interview”) and compared this condition to EFT. In addition, a third condition, a no treatment control group, was included in the study.
The results on immediate retesting were extremely significant (in favor of EFT) and strikingly similar to Wells’ results – even to the failure of the single physiological measure, pulse rate, to show any difference between EFT and the other conditions.Psychology Department of Queens College in New York:
Psychology Department of Queens College in New York, under Dr Harvey Baker’s direction, students will undertake a study to determine the effect of EFT vs. gentle calisthenics, and the effect of a no-treatment control group, on what is called “free throw” in basketball. This is the ability to get the ball into the hoop, or measurably close to it, at a stated distance. This study should shed important light on the use of EFT to improve athletic performance.
Remarkable Results
Rouleaux, or blood cell clumping, corrected by using EFT
This remarkable finding is offered as yet another fascinating EFT anecdotal report ... this time with before and after photos. Rouleaux is a medical term for a condition wherein the blood cells clump together forming what looks like stacks of coins. This is an unhealthy state because the cells are not free to absorb and carry oxygen. It is a pre-cursor to many serious diseases. EFT practitioner Rebecca Marina went to her physician, Patricia Felici, ND for a checkup and, when Rebecca's blood was examined under a microscope (Dark Field Microscopy), it contained substantial blood clumping. Rebecca then corrected this problem with a brief, self-administered EFT session and, when the blood sample was taken again (minutes later), the blood clumping disappeared. This was astonishing to Dr. Felici because, normally, it takes many weeks of nutritional supplements to correct this condition. The camera captured the before and after result and those photos are shown below.
Often works where nothing else will!
