Balance Your Chakra's
Chakra's as energy centers were first mentioned in 600 BC and became part of the complete Yoga system in 700 AD. Most of what we know today about Chakra's comes from the writings "Sat-Cakra-Nirupana" in 1577 and in the 10th century "Padaka-PanCaka". From these we have the teachings of what Chakra's are and how to balance our Chakra's.
If we could all live up in the mountains away from the stresses of everyday life and meditate all day we could probably live healthy lives with well balanced Chakra's. But the fact is we can't. Thats where the techniques of Chakra Balancing come in. Through colors, sounds and/or manual techniques your Chakra's can be balanced and clear. Once the Chakra's are balanced an inner peace and clarity of life can be achieved.
What are Chakra's
There are seven major Chakra centers. Each Chakra governs different organs and parts of the nervous system. Besides their role in maintaining our physical health, chakras also oversee various life issues. Each of the 7 main chakras reflects essential aspects of consciousness and governs our lives, loves, learning, and spiritual awakening.
· Crown Chakra - associated with the color Violet or White. Governs Upper Brain, Right Eye
· Third Eye Chakra - associated with the color Indigo. Governs Lower Brain, Left Eye, Ears, Nose, Nervous System
· Throat Chakra - associated with the color Blue. Governs Bronchial and Vocal Apparatus, Lungs
· Heart Chakra - associated with the color Green. Governs Heart, Blood, Circulatory System
· Solar Plexus Chakra - associated with the color Yellow. Governs Stomach, Liver, Gall Bladder, Nervous System
· Sacral Chakra - associated with the color Orange. Governs Reproductive Systems
· Root Chakra - associated with the color Red. Governs Spine and Kidneys
